When people speak out against discrimination, prejudice, injustice, stereo
types etc. they are advocates not necessarily complainers. Maybe if you
were to put a more assertive and positive spin on what you view disability
groups speaking about it might help you view things differently. People
who
view us as complainers are usually those who don't want to change the sta
tus quo.
