From: "Gary Britt"
He's a famous author, but not a scientist. I misspelled his name, but Mark
got it right up thread a bit. His latest book is replete with footnotes of
counter science to the whole global warming theories. One example would be
that of late journalists and scientists have been taking to showing
pictures of a particular south American mountain top with obviously
depleted snow and ice as visual proof of global warming. Problem is global
warming doesn't have anything to do with it. Instead the depletion of the
snow covering is entirely explained by the reduction in the rain forests
which caused a reduction in the humidity/water levels blowing up over the
mountain. Less water means less snow. Global warming didn't have a damn
thing to do with it, but don't tell that to the global warming is the
unified field theory of the universe people.
