Right... the old "Series 3" modems without LAPM?
The failure rate was worse at work with an access line length of 1607
metres than my home with an access line length of 2355 metres.
BTW, if you are on an AXE exchange and can get an exchange technician, they
can measure your access line length provided you remove all equipment from
the line when they do the test.
