From: "Mark" I hadn't realized his movie was out in power point hard copy, but perused it the other day on the remainder shelf -- phew, talk about audacity of hope you buy my BS! That said, good old Al can burn up 40 times as much energy as we do for all I care (it's not like it'll really affect the climate) and I'm pleased to see that he's a PT Barnum advocate and is willing to spend even more money buying "carbon credits" from charlatans. But here's what I'm really interested in: His people came out with some lame excuse that even though he burns through energy like a match in pure oxygen, he has CFL bulbs and is (just now, decades after the fact) installing solar panels. So my question is, if he is using CFL bulbs (and I have no doubt FedEx delivered a few hundred of them the morning after, if he wasn't already) what is the annual energy bill for his neighbors with similarly sized homes and presumably powered by old fashioned bulbs?* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
