From desktop to/from laptop I too get something over 100MBps on my Gigabit
network. The Pi4 (as can be seen above) is somewhat slower, but not
hugely.  ... and the Pi doesn't have a particularly fast disk, unlike
my desktop and laptop which both have NVME SSDs.
