Interesting idea, but only useful to people in the local area.  Otherwise 
long distance costs get in the way.
One of the companies that I contract for has a kid's bbs that you can get to 
either by local dialup or via the web.  They use graphic software called 
FirstClass.  Plans are in the works for a business version.
