Agreed, but I have a problem with the whole concept of a
bailout.

YEs, and imho the bailout should have been $0.

I was under the impression this bailout was engineered by
the previous administration. Whoever did it, it's not the
thing to do.

wOuld they bail out your small business?

Aig for example is the umbrella over lots of insurance
companies, everything from auto to accident. sO they took
those monies taken in from policyholders and invested them
unwisely. GUess what! I haven't done business with an AIG
company for years. My lady used to sell combined insurance, one of their
companies. Wasn't impressed then, am not
impressed now. WE had auto (liability only) through an AIg
subsidiary for awhile. NOw we're with somebody else, but
either way it goes, I expect that if I pay my premiums then
the insurance company has the wherewithall to do as
stipulated in my policy. IF they don't, then it's a matter
for the courts.

I can't bring myself to feel sorry for these wheeler dealers who got
themselves into a mess because of poor thinking and
planning. SO everybody gets hurt, according to the pundits. Well fine,
they're not reaching out to bail my skinny butt
out of trouble. LEt 'em go under!

Regards,
           Richard
