In 1985 I started working for Morino Associates in St Albans.

My new boss was an American - John McCain.  One day we had a barbecue at his house.

He opened the door to me and immediately said: "Hi, Phil - fancy a beer?"

And I said: "No thanks, John.  I'm driving - I'll have a Budweiser."

But, that said - I went into a bar near Hopkinton, Ma., and the waitress
asked if I'd like a beer.  I said yes, but I didn't recognise the brands.
She came back with a mat that she put in front of me, with the names of
eight local brews and a 2oz taster glass of each.  Excellent microbrewery
stuff.
