subject: Interesting Trivia

I remember a discussion we had concerning passing arguments to
functions. The following question and answer concerns a MIPS (RISC)
computer.

It looks like both sides were correct.

Q: What are registers $a0 - $a3 used for ?

A:
These registers are used to pass the first 4 arguments
to routines. Any subsequent arguments are passed on
 the stack.

Registers $v0 and $v1 are used to return values from functions.
