You are no doubt correct. The US insurance racket hides behind the
"reasonable and customary" clauses in their policies to extort
money from their customers.
The US right has been pushing the "America has the best health care
system in the world" trope long enough for people like Mark, who are
willing to suspend their sense of disbelief w/r/t anything coming from that
particular political precinct, to have bought completely into it.
