I've just started my attempt to configure GIGO to run, for now only gating 
newsgroups.
I'm using VSOUP to fetch the news, since it's faster than SOUPER fetching 
mail.  Still not terribly fast (20KB/sec with 10 threads, as opposed to 
120KB/sec with other programs for newsreading with two threads), but better 
than the 2 to 5KB/sec that SOUPER did.
I've configured to the point where GIGO sees the .BAG files (renamed from 
VSOUP's .MSG files), and goes through each one of them.  
That's as far as it goes - it doesn't appear to be doing anything with the 
information.  I cannot find any packets generated from them.
Anyone here using GIGO to import news via SOUP who can point me in the right 
direction?
