To but in! I have a awe32, a sound canvas (roland) and a jv1080 (roland)
The best sounds come from the 1080!!! It's out board so takes a MPU401
compatable or a MQX32m midi interface card. (mqx32m has 2 i/o ports rather
then junt one)
you could plug in a keyboard to the interface card and record (midi) what you
played. For fiddeling around I FIND that DOS version 4.01E of Cakewalk Pro
works well or is it just cakewalk?? If your a mouse jockey then Cakewalk Pro
AUDIO (windows) is for you. I'm sure that other software is out there and as
good. Oh the Pro Audio also handels .WAV stuff.
I have a Yamaha OPL3sa (I think??) card and It just don't sound as good and a
modual ie Sound Canvase or JV1080 but there cheaper money and sound.
