I know a fair bit, although if you're talking about car-audio subs, there's 
another echo that would be more appropriate (then again, I suppose the basic 
of sub-box design are somewhat universal).

There are several programs out there designed for this sort of thing, but 
they all tend to be commercial and fairly pricey; it's not the sort of thing 
that's fodder for your average shareware BBSs.
