Way to go, and excellent timing!  I won that Ebay auction for the laser
interferometry parts, and I think between myself and our ATM lab, we have
enough
bits to put together an crude interferometry setup.  The only thing were lacking
is software  perhaps you might share your code when the time comes?

When I spoke with Mr. Royce last Tuesday, he mentioned some data about his
Zernike polynomials, I don't know if this will help or not, but here's my
notes from the conversation:

#1 The Zernikes are in a "Peak to Zero" format

#2 Spherical Aberration is contained in the 8th order values (??) and they must
be multiplied by 1.5 to get Peak-Valley Spherical Aberration

The RoC is 2829mm, measured with zone 1 (surface radius = 30mm) nulled
