Hello Gerhard,
TR>> Now all the democrat hypocrites will run to the nearest open mic and
TR>> denounce the Second Amendment rights.
GS> And the better alternative would be?
Duels.
GS> You can say, that it's not the gun that kills, it's the people, but
banning
GS> the people is even harder.
That's why we need to bring back duels.
We could even modernize it.
Make it like the Mad Max movie.
Thuderdome - Two men enter, one man leaves.
GS> And you have a real problem over there.
Mad Max survived. The other(s) didn't.
GS> In Switzerland, people have almost the same amount of guns per capita as
in
GS> the US, but 90% less kills with guns. (based on a UNO report from 2010)
Switzerland is the most militant nation on Earth.
Everybody is trained and armed. Not just the guys,
but also the gals. Not sure about the kids, but
I wouldn't doubt it if they are.
There are two countries in Europe that Adolf Hitler did not
even attempt to invade. One of them was Switzerland. The other
was Turkey.
GS> And your police in the US is more like a paramilitary force and they say
GS> they needed their assault rifles because every criminal is also carrying
GS> one. Now think about this:
GS> http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-19641398
GS> A 2006 survey of 47,328 Police Federation members found 82% did not want
GS> officers to be routinely armed on duty, despite almost half saying their
GS> lives had been "in serious jeopardy" during the previous three years.
Drugs are a real problem in major urban centers in the US.
Police know better than to go into a neighborhood unarmed,
and without backup.
GS> Or this:

rst-time-its-history
GS> It's the first time someone has been killed by armed police in Iceland
since
GS> it became an independent republic in 1944. Police don't even carry
weapons,
GS> usually. Violent crime in Iceland is almost non-existent. As of July 8,
GS> 2016, the 2013 incident remains the only time Icelandic police have shot
GS> and killed anyone.
GS> [...]
GS> In fact, Iceland isn't anti-gun. In terms of per-capita gun ownership,
GS> Iceland ranks 15th in the world.
Many Icelanders travel outside their own country, kind of as
a rite of passage. As such, why would they need a gun of any
kind? "Have suitcase, will travel" seems to be their motto.
Bj”rk certainly has made her own claim to fame, having done
her part ...
