Light blue would make sense as a color.. or at least it matches the
other light blue things in the Venturer programme. :) The selection
of that particular shade of blue.. (baby blue :).. well..)
My first Scout beret was a 100% nylon green beret.
Berets are mostly useful only for formal occasions. Although I wonder
if the 100% nylon beret could be used as a waterholder... Never
tried that.

I don't really mind, myself. But nothing stops you from wearing it.
:) Unless you're trying to be in 'correct uniform', where that's
necessary. It isn't, most of the time.
