Allen, You might try doing it with a script. Then you could EXIT the
script before downloading any files which would then go to the QMPRO
download path configuration.
You might post a message here for FRED JOHNSON as I seen his reply
to a William Vitale stating that he liked to D/L his messages to his
mail directory which was different then his D/L directory. I think he
said he uses a script to do it. Perhaps he will share it or his
knowledge with you.
