I would suggest in early spring (BEFORE "spring break").  It is still a 
ittle
cool, but it is not hot and humid.  It is not "tourist season" and should not
be too crowded.  But a good "Rule of Thumb" is NEVER to go when school is not
in session (IE spring break, summer vacation, Christmas break, etc)... that 
s
when it is the height of "tourist season" and the biggest crowds... and 
uring
the summer it is hot and humid.
