This is one of the biggest points that's kept the conspiracy theorists
going for 40 years, didn't you know? :|

Right -- now the CONSPIRING part -- WHOSE money and whose power could so
influence even the White House? (and how many people were willingly &
knowingly involved, first, in facilitating the assassination and,
second, in the ongoing 40-year coverup?)

The key point, to me, is that if this whole mechanism remains in place
without any attempt to call them into accountability, it could just as
easily be repeated (and, if it's such a simple matter to get away with
killing even the most-beloved President, how much simpler would it be to
be killing even thousands of other, lesser-famous Americans that might
inconvenience someone with money/power?) :|

The point is that nobody is even TRYING to, because they've successfully
got those who WOULD demand justice and protection to be deemed just
"kooks" even by reasonably intelligent members of the public! :(

There's a good story to illustrate the principle, a friend told me
about.. .

It goes back to olden times, in an olden place, where there were great
gems lost in the fields around & about, that the King had demanded he
had ownership of and that anyone who found a gem and did not turn it
into him immediately would be executed, and anyone who turned them in
would be rewarded handsomely. .x

One day a poor peasant woman was out in the field with her little 6-yo
boy weeding, when she found one of these gems!

The boy saw her, but she 'shushed' him and they went home, where she hid
it away -- her greatest fear was that her boy who played with the
neighbourhood children a lot would speak up about the "big shiny thing
momma found and hid" and that would be the end of her hopes to escape
the drudgery of this land & life for her and her family. . .

So, the question my friend asked me is "how did the woman ensure that
she wouldn't be identified as having one of the gems?" and I answered
correcyly with, "she'd discredit the boy's veracity" and the story
continued with:

The mom put her son to bed then workek busily to make hundreds of little
honey cakes(her son's favourite!) then carried them up to the roof (they
lived in a flat-roofed house as was common for the peasant slaves) then
she awoke her son about 3 in the morning and brought him up to the roof,
saying, "Look, sonny, it rained honey cakes last night!" and she allowed
him to eat his fill before bringing him back down to his bed, after he
fell back asleep she cleaned up the roof & disposed of the remainder of
y he honey cakes. . .

Later in the week when the king's police came around to inquire about
the missing gem, one of the neighbour boys told the officer that Sonny
down in the blue house had seen his mommy pick up a red shiny rock, so
the police hurried to Sonnys house and asked him if he'd seen anything
unusual recently and he was still so bursting with excitement he babbled
on for 20 minutes abuot how it rained honeycakes 3 nights earlier and he
& his mommy went up to the roof to eat honeycakes all night long!

The police, of course, groaned, then smacked the kid upside the head,
then left in frustration/disgust. . .

And that's how easy it can be to hide truth!
