if the heat retention is a problem you could just spray water on it a =
couple of times around sunset. that should help cool it to near ambient =
with little difficulty.
good luck

I am planning to use brick siding on my backyard observatory to match my =
house, but I'm concerned about local seeing problems. Does the heat =
soaked up during the day have a pronounced effect on seeing after some =
reasonable cool-down-time? (I realize summer will be worse, but summer =
is bad enough with late nights, heat, and mosquitos anyway). Has anyone =
had a bad experience with brick on their observatory?
Thanks!
Mark
