subject: Echo updates

Hello Dale!

Monday March 23 2020 01:34, you wrote to me:

I have posted the current elist help file despite the odd typo.

If any one has a question or questions just say in ELIST so every one can see
along with my answer/s.

At least it will tell me where there are omissions in the help file and corect
it.

As to your question no, the only option for the moment is to send both file
types tag.ECO and tag.RUL (if used) to me direct and my system will use them
for additions, updates and deletions.

Note for every one Deletions do not happen immediately but occur during the
next WARNing cycle on the first day of each month. The same applies if I do a
change by hand using the secondary program elist-maint which is an interactive
update/add program. Heopfully I will not need to use it often other than the
first few weeks unless I have a bug in the main program.

I will give it a few weeks to settle down and try and find solutions that will
allow me to call library code that supports C calls (in the C programming
language) as my software althought written in a commercial programming
language
generates C that create the binary / executables. Hopefully you can understand
that. These libraries or tools will do the work to send and receive netmails
and read from a JAM message base all inbound requests but I have not even
started seriously looking. One job at a time as it were.
