What difference would that make if you simply repeat the transmission exactly?

second, you don't have to tap the communications at that point, the
receiving device is likely connected to the internal network and then to
the internet, it's not unlikely the internal network could be easily tied
into.

as for the backend, if you can pay an AOL employee to steal their database...
