Did you have to use those eye-bleeding dumb terminals too? The oddball thing I miss is the nine track tape drives. Used to have to read in data from them, do some magic, and then output the result to this HUGE, ultrheavyduty electrostatic plotter. Wrote a bunch of scripts to handle all the conversions so I could go for coffee after mounting a few tapes. I think I still might have the printouts kicking around in a box somewhere. I recall the day I printed all those scripts out, as we were opting out for Solaris, my then boss took a look at them and commented that I should keep them all close at hand as they were worth a small fortune. Man was he ever wrong! Something like my comment about Windows when I first saw it, "Nobody will ever buy that crap!" Heh, heh. Oh well. Just goes to show eh?
