RF> Zombies aren't plausible! If you're going to make a game with
RF> zombies, you don't say that science was responsible for them. They
RF> should be brought about with a mystical rite or some such thing.
SI> Once, again. You didn't play the full version.
 SI> Who ever said they
SI> were zomies? The game never called them that. Game
 SI> mags called them zombies
SI> because they looked like it.
People affected with a virus don't behave that way.
SI> Do you think Mario is plausible? How bout Crash or Sonic? Or
any
Well, no. But even if I did play one of those games, they would
still be more coherent.
The problem with RE is that it sets its story in the real world, and
uses a real-world problem (viruses) to explain the existence of the
"zombies." It's totally illogical - the closest viruses come to creating
these creatures are hemorraging.
SI> game? If games were realistic (I mean things did and can happen) than
it
SI> would be a simulation not a game. Sure the idea of
Simulations can still be games. Never played AH-64D Longbow, or
NASCAR Racing 2?
BTW, there *are* realistic games, such as Sierra's Police Quest
series, Sid Meier's Civilization games, etc...
 SI> "zombies" is unrealistic,
 SI> but it's a game.
SI> I still stick with my opion. The plot is really
 SI> well done. Resident
SI> Evil got me into game stories. That's something that
 SI> lacks on the N64. I
SI> haven't played Saturn lately, so I can't really comment.
Have you *ever* read a novel? Resident Evil's story is horrible in
comparison. For a real story, play a Gabriel Knight game.
