DC> OMX doesn't want to grab them from TM.

Is searched for private in the documentation.

From OMXOS/2 Doc:

NetMail This is a type of mail generally intended for
            personal, one-on-one communication. NetMail is
addressed directly to the recipient, and is usually
marked as "private". This way, the only person that can
read the message is the person to whom the message is
            addressed.

EchoMail A method of mail processing used for public, or
"conference" mail. Unlike NetMail, messages sent via
EchoMail are usually NOT marked "private", and can
therefore be read by anyone. EchoMail conferences are
separated by topic, and are by far the most popular
method of mail processing, since it allows people from all
across the globe to interact with each other about their
            favorite topics.

Post Restrict Type

Specifies the default posting restriction type to be
used when creating a new message area. Available
            restriction types are "Public",
"Private", "Public/
            Private", and "Read Only".

PRIVATE
Messages will always be marked as private, i.e. only
the intended recipients can read them.

Note that BY CONVENTION, NetMail message areas are
usually marked "Private", while EchoMail and GroupMail
areas are usually marked "Public". Of course, you can
define message areas any way you like, but you should
make sure that what you intend will be allowed by the
person(s) in charge of the conferences (for example,
most EchoMail areas in the FidoNet distribution system
            don't allow private messages).

DefaultPostType

Specifies the "posting restriction" type that will be used
by default when creating a new message area. The
specified text can be "Public", "Private",

            "Public/Private", or "Read Only".

Now having done this, how is your area defined in TM.CFG? These are private echoes.

From my.tm.cfg:

Desc TSR-PTS TSR-PTS Echo1
Desc MARSH-POINTS MARSH-POINTS New

Group Echo1 14 150 175 1 2 R Yes Yes IBMPC All
Group New 180 200 300 1 1 R Yes No IBMPC All

Set user and templates according to what you want.

Just asking why the convoluted setup? I count 4 software packages to do
what 2 will do very efficiently. Irex and Termail will do very well
together. Or F2i and Termail. I count Irex/F2i, Termail, OMX, Bluewave,
back to OMX and Termail then to Irex/F2i.

Would Irex/F2i Termail then Irex/F2i not be faster?

Hope this helps. Keep us posted.

We are a fine board trying to make it better.
