As far as I know, no groups around my part of Canada use totem names. 
Last summer, though, I camped with another Scout Association operating
around here, AEBP (Association d'Eclaireurs Baden-Powell), and they did
use totem names.  
Cub leaders do use names from the Jungle Book, but that's a different
story.
I guess someone will tell you about the American Order of the Arrow
and their Vigil Names.
