I know you have to destroy all the larvae that contain "other" El Oscuros.
And I've done that.
And I've (now) also killed the "snake" El Oscuro. (Phew, about time, he WAS
one tough customer!). :)  And I got the "real" ending with the characters and
their various hats. :)
BTW could you please explain all the different types of bonus' a player
could get in the game? eg: "Democratic Bonus" etc...
