Hello Ed,
BA>> I'm surprised they waited until Trump actually took office BA>before
EK> trying ti impeach him.
EK> He did good in Sauda Arabia.
He was well-received. As was his wife and daughter.
Not only did the king allow both gals to flaunt their
hair, he also allowed the first lady to shake his hand.
In public. On camera. Totally unheard of. But then,
maybe they had something he wanted ...
EK> Got a kings welcome and left with $110B of their money.. Gotta love that!
And what did he get for those millions of $$$ ?
Just a promise. An empty promise. Unlike the king,
our president has no money of his own to spend. And
neither does the Congress (it can only appropriate
funds, not spend money).
What the Saudis want are weapons. Weapons to use
against enemies (foreign and domestic), with the king
deciding who those enemies are.
Although it is Saudi funds that are to be used for
purchasing the weapons, shouldn't such purchases come
with strings attached (such as human rights)?
Previous presidents (such as Bill Clinton, GWB, and
Barack Obama) knew when and where to draw the line.
Where is the line for Donald Trump? Does he even have
a line?
