As long as the MSGID is different in each message, it would not be a dupe.
However, since newer versions of Allfix are not including a MSGID, they are
not being caught by Synchronet (since I disabled CRC checking, which leaves
it only to MSGID checking) and passing them on to my hpt node, which is
catching them as expected.

I think I figured out where the actual issue is over here, but at least we
were able to pinpoint a fault in the newer versions of Allfix as well. If
these messages did come out with a MSGID, I wouldn't be having this issue
with Synchronet.

I am. And Synchronet is not catching them due to the lack of a MSGID, so
it's sending both of the messages (original and duplicate) to my hpt
system, where they're being caught as they should be.

At least now I know the problem lies in a couple places, but where/how I
can at least fix it so that it doesn't happen here anymore. :)

Regards,
Nick
