Hmmmm. I don't think so. The E7F was the latest of the three 14.4 models, the
E7 and the M7F being first, and the E7F adding fax later. Can't be sure,
but I think it'd be too late to be series 3? Actually, the modem in
question just called, and got a V.42bis/V.42 connect.
