| subject: | Maxcomm/Async? |
'Lo all.
Since BT-XE5, I've been using the Maxcomm version of Binkley, but I've
found that whenever it starts up, there's a considerable delay while
loading MAXCOMM.DLL. Needless to say, it was substantial enough to make
me look at the Async version.
What are the differences between the two? Are there any known problems
with the Async version as opposed to the Maxcomm version? As of yet, I
haven't noticed any problems, or any slow-downs performance wise, but I
only transfer mail over the LAN here, so the average CPS rate of 33k/sec
hasn't changed :>
