Hi Joe! During the late 60's we used to also cut B3's down to size at the music store I worked at. We also did tweeking on Fender Twins (change 6L6's to 6550's, change output transformer, and speakers to Altec 12"s) and built PA speaker cabinets. There is something about sitting behind that coffin on stilts though that is hard to match with a portable!
