If you go back further than that, before the industrial revolution, everyone 
worked at home.  The whole movement of parents leaving their children to go 
out to work each day is unnatural - we only take it for granted because it's 
all we've seen for the last 150 years, but in actual fact our ancestors 
worked around and with their families.
