Many libraries have microfilm readers for the New York Times and other
things. Nothing says you can't bring your own film, although I never
thought of buying my own. There are even threaders there, so I think
maybe the spool would be enough... Microfilm readers can be bought from
University Microfilms in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
