Don't get me wrong.  I like the Soverign class.  She's a pretty mover.  I
think the Jay-Trek verison would be a *fine* setting for a campaign or
series.

I think that the statement "Imagine the love child of the Voyager and
the Excelsior" is true,  but the design *works* well, and is pretty to
watch.

In Jay-Trek the E-E *is* a Galaxy class,  but only because they had one
nearing completion.  In Jay-Trek the new USS Yamato is a Soverign class
*because they can be built faster*.  Which is the whole point of the ship.
