Men do that by "sharing" with them the ability to
do unpaid work while he pays the bills. :-)  Career women's
birth rates, on the other hand plummet as they make the CEO of
their corporation wealthy as they slave 60 hours a week. :-)

And I'm from an FDR working class family.  :-)

However, the days of democratic convert women cleanly getting away
with rebelling against daddy are coming to an end.  As you said,
most such women in your age group (>40) were married with kids.
That isn't true for the Bridget Jones' generation, however.

Back when I was dating, I saw literally hundreds of personal
ads from aging 30+ Liberal women most likely from republican
WASP families seeking professional white men and not caring if he
was a bad republican provided he had the "bling".  Many
of them were so desperate they even dated _ME_. :-)

Yeah, you have been talking about that just now as if you
suddenly "remembered" it.  Pretty amazing.  Are these
memories as clear as your NRA membership card? :-)

One reason why fertility of immigrants is such a major
factor especially for rust-belt blue states is because
the fertility rate for all natives, including non-whites,
has tapered off due to welfare reform.  German style
socialism isn't coming anytime soon and the old
benefits are drying up (Halliburton has to pay it's
bills you know :-)

Does this mean we should get double digit unemployment like
Germany?  (How about if the blue states just keep all
of it to themselves.  I understand New York City loses
jobs every year across the river to New Jersey...)
