All brick wall construction requires ventilation - - to the point that
they
make little plastic vents which take the place of the vertical joints
between adjoining bricks. These vents also prevent the accumulation of
moisture. What is important is an aluminium sheet behind the brick to
reflect radiated heat back out of the structure. Aluminized vapour barrier
is still on the market but is being replaced by ineffectual poly sheet.
Consult a local mason or masonry supply.

Hello All
Well. You must have but just in case!. Have you thought of having a wall
with an air gap. Sort of two thinner walls with a small space to let air
circulate freely. Just my two paise
