subject: Bink Crashing Problem

You didn't say which version of Binkley your friend was running.

There are definitely some buglets in Binkley 2.60 that seem to be
infrequent but maddening: I went through a period where Bink would simply
exit several times a day. It went away for no reason, came back briefly a
year later, and went away again. (Uninitialized pointer, perhaps?)

The only solution is to tinker randomly, or to switch to the XE version
which I think has fixed some of those problems.
