JM-> I've got a Maxtech 33.6 modem that is bugging me.
 
JM-> It refuses to send files... it downloads fine, but if I upload to 
someone 
  -> other end gets long packet sent during file transfer errors.
 
JM-> Does anyone know how to fix this? Possibly a new init string?
 
You know, I have been having that problem myself. Great download cps
rate but the uploads are really lame, and on big files it usually ends
up not finishing and dropping carrier.
I don't think it is the modem though because I know other people using
different modems having the same problem.
I would like to get a clue as to what causes this also.
