Hi Vicki,
RH> Play around with it; if it's not satisfactory, then all you've spent
RH> is money for one cone. I found I could not use the cheap thread in my
 VO> I can't use them in my Brother, I know that. It's $1.29/cone at
 VO> Joann Fabrics.
I have found that I have to keep my machine super clean with the cone
thread; it lints more.
RH> The Dritz adapter is the kind I have. I've never had a feed problem
VO> Good to know. I'll check out Walmart next time I'm there.
I saw it for $4.24 at our W-M yesterday; it was on a free standing
island in the craft/sewing department with other notions.
RH> I'd be so frustrated without a working sewing machine--I'd have to
RH> borrow one to keep me happy.
 VO> That's why I got the Brother.
I'd be shot if I suggested getting a back up! (And yet, we have several
computers.)
RH> applique that changed color every couple of inches. I used the nylon
RH> on top and matched my bobbin to the shirt. Then I went over the edge
 RH> with paint.
VO> I'll have to try that sometime. I do quite a few applique's.
I don't trust the Wonder Under to hold forever; I've seen it peel and I
don't want that to happen with my hard work.
Catch you later,
Ruth
