 Are we talking about a Couriers Speaker or another brand of modems SQUAKER?
I can hear MORE with my Couriers speaker then on a normal phone!.. Like the 
time I moved and found out some ${at}#$ had cut the phone line and only taped it
all up, when I got the phone lines connected i could hear a fant scratching
on the line though the modems's speaker (VOLUME MAX) but not thought the phone

 Sure, there are LAWS but if its illegal to it does not mean "YOU CAN'T" Do
it, Just that you should NOT DO IT AND And Deserve to be punished..  Recorded
conversations, I would not like to be taped without knowing..
