Also: end play in the worm shaft/bearings can be a serious PE error source,
considering that the error is ~:
206265*(end play)/gear radius = arc seconds
I usually put a small steel ball on the end of the worm shaft that turns on
a hard surface, the motor/shaft are spring loaded to keep the ball in
contact.
