It's used any time you need to send the keyboard codes which Telix
will otherwise intercept and use for its own purposes, such as PgUp
-- when you want to send PgUp instead of telling Telix you want to
upload something. It's got nothing to do with the doorway program,
per se; and it might not even be necessary to use doorway mode when
in DOS via a bbs door. Whether or not to use it depends entirely on
whether or not you need to send unfiltered key codes out through the
COM port.
