DC> HN> I sure hope Sept has some good sailing weather for you, might not be
DC> HN> real good "winter" boat .
DC>Wel, I may have to get a wet or dry suit to keep me comfortable,
DC>but I haven't gotten too wet, at least not yet!
Well as you know, our waters will give you a good jolt when you first
get that thrill! I used to be in the Polar Bear club and used to
swimm every single day. After living for 4+ years in the south pacific,
when I returned to the northwest......Well lets just say my first dive
into the cold waters of the north pacific, was the last time I did it
!
DC>Well, hopefully sooon, though winter is generally the best
DC>time to find a buy on a boat. BTW, sailed on Friday
DC>with Natalie. We had fun terrorizing the last sailing
DC>class. }:-) Joanna wanted them to learn the rules
DC>of "right of way", and I did my best to infringe on everyone
DC>of them I could!
Somehow the image of you and Natalie swooping down on the flotilla is
very clear in my mind . I'll bet you had loads of fun!
DC>They may not be able to sail well, but the bulk of them
DC>now do know how to yell "STARBOARD!!!" with authority! It
DC>was fun, especial when we got a bit of wind... I was able
DC>to lap the fleet! In the ligher air, the Lido's have far to
DC>big of a jib for me to keep up, though I held them off from
DC>passing. :)
Is the lark a catboat rig? Where is the mast on this little jewel of
Sequim Bay?
DC>Can't wait for Monday, as I get to take the Lark out for
DC>a set of dinghy races!
Let us know how you did!
chat with you soon!
