I don't care for it either - I'd much rather have a dbx 1046.  Or is it
1066?  Whichever one isn't the 4 channel one - I can never keep their model
numbers straight.  Either that or an Aphex Tube Compressor.  However, the
Alesis is something I inherited, more or less.  The beginnings of a studio
were already bought and paid for before I even got the job, and I am now
sort of stuck with the 3630 and a MidiVerb IV (which I kind of like).
Do you have a personal preference in compressors?  If so, which one(s)?
