Nope. Negative integer example is notated by w* (actually small omega with a
* exponent. The positive integer example is notated by w. Now w is without
end while w* is without beginning while w* + w without beginning or end. Now
w + w* has a definite start at 1 but takes forever to get to it's end of 0.
Mathematicians aren't content with just this however. w + w, w + w + w, w +
w + w + ...
