I am finding that out and I also am some distance from my 56Kflex provider.
a connect of 46000 is the best I have seen so far
I am using Diamond's Supra 56 and find that it is one of the best modems I 
have
ever used and that short list includes Hayes, PPI, and USR v.everything.  I
