Hi Carl, thanks for your reply which I believe I will find really helpful.  
In 4 weeks I will be a fully qualified Primary Education teacher so when I 
have my own classroom I definatly will take your advice and approach local 
businesses about donating material and providing instructors.  There's 
nothing more useful for a teacher then an extra set of hands and extra 
knowledge in the classroom. Your suggestions on extension ideas were great 
also.  THANKS!  Your right about girls and Science Education but unfortunatly 
here , it is an issue.  It was only today that I got to see the new Gender 
Equity kit for Science, sad isn't it?
