I second this.  I envision with a design like this it would be possible to have
File Areas that have sub-areas.

I would also like to see the ability in messaging to reference a file that
exists in the file area or posisbly externally.  Almost like a tag, but instead
is a file reference.  Then say I could hit a key "X" for download or something
and it would automatically try to start downloading the file from the file area
while I am reading the message.
