Yeah, like... 20 years ago! :-)

It's funny to hear you parrot John Kerry's notion that
we should pass a "global test" and learn to be more
like the French and THEN turn around and say everyone
watches American films and wears Amercan fashions
because the peasants don't have an alternative. :-)
In general, my wife tends to look for "made in Italy"
first when buying any clothes or shoes (I need to
start shopping direct from Italy through the Internet
as my friend does. It's a lot cheaper and better than
buying Chinese junk here.) Surprisingly, a lot
of very good clothing is made in Israel. Poland
also is starting to become a major exporter.
In regards to "poverty stricken". There are regions
of "Russia" that are poverty stricken, agreed, but
that can be said for the US as well (DC, for example :-)
If you think that all Russian people wear sackcloths
and yearn for an upgrade to baggy American jeans, think
again. Overall, I think Russians are probably more
fashion saavy than frumpy American women who wear
jogging pants to the grocery store.

It's funny to hear you suggest that foreign brides
are going to have their hearts and minds won by
feminist values once they hit American shores when you
have such a condescending, incorrect view of their culture.

Not necessarily.
As I said, times have changed since the politically incorrect
days of foreigners' accents being made of and them being
expected to assimulate into WASP values ASAP.
There are ethnic sections to many cities where people can
go days speaking their native non-English tongue.
Here in the DC metro area, my wife is able to shop
in Russian, Polish, and Ukrainian stores and buy foods she misses.
Chicago has the second highest population of Poles outside
of Poland. My father spent more time speaking Polish
in Scottsdale than he did in the ethnic Polish neighborhood
he grew up in Pennsylvania.
It's kind of funny to hear you talk of assimulation because
my wife was just asking me to take her to an "American"
restaurant. I said there wasn't any, really. I guess
could take her to a steak house but she's not a big fan
of steak.

I guess they'll need to put on some weight then and
learn how to dress frumpy. :-)

Did you have your "partner" show her your lifetime NRA membership
card? :-)

Let's put it this way:
Let's say you were offered a high paying job in Saudi Arabia
and accepted it. Would you spend a lot of time hanging
out with the native women trying to learn their customs OR
would spend a disproportionate amount of time with ex-patriots?
My wife generally prefers the company of other internationals.
> :-)They go to tupper ware parties :-);
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Yeah, that's a scene out of a 1950's television serial. :-)
When was the last time you went to a tupperware party?
We buy the cheapie containers ourselves at the grocery
store and don't cry if we lose one.

My wife loves Starbucks. :-) Once again, you are soooo dated! :-)

I'm afraid I'm not one of the 10 people who've seen that film. :-)
Interestingly enough, my wife's English instructors, ALL of them,
are REPUBLICANS. ESL classes generally are not liberal
indoctrination centers (they really don't have the time
or energy to bother with that nonsense.) The students
who are there are VERY busy learning English.

Actually, I think she's a bit too far to the right.
She makes my ears turn red with some of the things
she says.

I think this has gotten convoluted: I've said all
along that educated women tend to be snobs. You then
tried to imply, falsely, that I was disparaging education.
When you talk of such women "seeking" men, that's incorrect.
They don't "seek" such men. They expect such men to seek
them out. (This explains why so many of them wind up
childless spinsters, eh?)

I notice you passed this one.
I didn't mean to make a jab at you (personally) so much as point
out that such snobbish women don't want to spend their
days having "coffee" with you. They consider YOU beneath
THEM.

I think the other poster wrote this.
But he's largely right. Sure, there are thousands of ads
from such women but so what? There are MILLIONS of Russian
women who aren't making such ads. What about them?
We might as well generalize about the "hundreds" of
aging childless miserable spinster career women.
Oh, wait, those are the MILLIONS. OK, that's better. :-)

Apparently the women with their eyes glued to the set about
reports and news stories focused on these brides.
Meow baby!

> Well, I don't think I go 'round the world for "love",
I hate to be personal (really) but you don't have a real partner
and you feel a need to make one up.
I think most women have a true mental need for men but
having a need, and being able to meet it, are two different
things (just ask mothers trying to get their kids
to exercise or eat vegetables :-)
Women don't have the ability or the drive similar to men
to take the risks and action to "find" love they need.
This is one of the reasons feminism is doomed.
> since love isn't
> really something you find, like a pearl in an oyster shell.
You've never seen a sunset then. :-)
> Love is
> something you build, and a slave will NEVER love the master.
Before I answer that, I would like to ask you how I'm personally
a "master" over my spouse for my benefit at her expense.
Women in Patriarchal homes get to be "primary" caregivers
of their children, have someone support them, and they
get plenty of spare time oftentimes to read feminist books.
On the contrary, it would appear that sexist men empower
women and offer them freedom far moreso than women who
work 60 hours a week and then pay for their own
healthcare plan. :-)
In regards to "building" love: Not only do sexist men such
as myself do the legwork in "finding" and "seeking" love,
we also are the primary providers financially. We "share"
and that's precisely why we're not aging childless spinsters.
So on BOTH counts, us sexist men get what we deserve.
It's ironic that the poor guys going to jail for failure
to pay mommy support are the "liberated" guys who
have casual sex or date independent women. The women
who appreciate sexist men treat them a hell of a lot
better!
> Thus, I
> have, in my life, been willing to build love.
You don't have a real "partner" and the only somewhat
long term close relationships you have are with children
you were in a "master/slave" relationship with (if
they didn't love mommy-dearest, you could starve
them to death.) You criticize us menfolk for being
powermad jerks but I fail to see how you've ever set
a moral example even approaching us. Ever.
Politics aside, life is about how those close to us view
us and how we've managed to behave decently towards others.
I can sleep very soundly at night.
